§ 70-1. Purpose of chapter.

The purpose of this chapter is to provide payment for the construction, reconstruction, improvement and preservation of public improvements including but not limited to, streets, curbs and gutters; sewer and water mains; and sidewalks and driveway approaches in the village by the levy of special assessments therefore upon various classes of real estate, in a fair and equitable manner, through the application of a variety of formulas.
